COSWN encourages membership in a local repeater club before joining with us. We are graciously permitted to use systems throughout the area as needed during severe weather.
In central Ohio we use radio systems built and maintained by CORC, the Central Ohio Radio Club. CORC is the Home of the Weather Net in central Ohio. CORC provides a high profile system that covers the area contained in the central Ohio Skywarn® Radio Network and provides radio links outside of central Ohio.
Other clubs and individuals provide personnel and support as needed. These include the Central Ohio Amateur Radio Association, Capital City Repeater Association and the Central Ohio Amateur Radio Emergency Services. You can find information on these organizations by visiting our support page.
Joining COSWN is simple and straight forward. Print out our membership form and sent it along with payment to the address listed on the application.
